Hearts for HaitiHearts 4 Haiti: February 13-14th

Hearts 4 Haiti is a series of non-profit dance parties held around the Hudson Valley held by DJ Likwid and sponsored by the Dutchess County Red Cross. All proceeds from this event go toward the American Red Cross: Haiti Disaster Relief Fund, all events are 18 to enter 21 to drink, all events have different varieties of electronic dance music.

Hudson ValleyScrabble Tournament To Benefit the Ulster Literacy Association: March 11th

Ulster Literacy Association is having their first annual Scrabble Tournament fundraising event on Thursday, March 11th from 6 - 9 pm at the United Health Group Cafeteria (505 Boices Lane in Kingston, NY)
** Come join in some fun - with prizes and refreshments - bring your coworkers, family, and friends!
Also, donations of new and gently-used Scrabble games are greatly needed. Please contact the office to donate today!
Suggested donation for participants is: $20 per person or $35.00 per couple OR purchase a letter for $150.00

Haiti BeaconVegan Bake Sale for Haiti: February 13tth

The "Vegan Bake Sale for Haiti: Sweets, Savories, and Still-lifes" will take place Saturday, Feb. 13th at 6 pm, Zora Dora's Paleta Shop, 201 Main Street, Beacon, NY. The sale is running concurrently with the Beacon Second Saturday Artwalk, and small works will be available for sale.


All proceeds go to relief workers, Food for Life, and animal rescue group, Sodopreca, both on the ground in Haiti. The event is sponsored by Wintergreens CSA, Hudson Valley Compassion, and Zora Dora's.
