DIY Gardening Workshop: October 17th

Learn about common fall garden projects during an October 17, 2009 workshop presented by the volunteers and master gardeners of the F.W. Vanderbilt Garden Association. The forum will cover subjects such as proper planting of bulbs, dividing of perennials, pruning of shrubs and improving the soil. Master gardeners will also answer questions. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. in the garden at the Vanderbilt National Historic site, off Route 9 in Hyde Park. Participation is free, but a donation is encouraged.
